The citrus educational program will be focused on the production of fresh fruit for many of the world's major export markets. These include the USA, Europe, Japan, the Middle and Far East
We will also look at the flow of promising new fruit cultivars through the evaluation and commercialization processes.
With the current problems facing Florida growers I know that new improved, and pest or disease tolerant varieties are of great interest.
The
citrus related visits will include observation of, and discussions on the
